The Macomb Foster Closet is an all volunteer organization dedicated to serving children in foster care throughout Michigan. As the largest foster closet in the United States, we provide clothing, shoes, hygiene, baby gear, toys, books, school supplies, and other necessities that thousands of children need to thrive – all for free.
Children entering foster care often arrive at their placements with little more than the clothes on their backs. We bridge that gap immediately, restoring dignity.

A ReJoyceful Animal Rescue is a no-kill, foster-based cat and dog rescue. We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) charity located in the Metro-Detroit area. All of the animals that come into in our care have been rescued from one place or another. We pull from high-kill animal shelters, we take in the sick, unwanted, aggressive, abandoned, abused and neglected animals. We place them in a foster home with someone who will understand them, rehabilitate them and show them what it is like to be loved again.

We offer afterschool programs for girls including one-to-one tutoring, college and career readiness, and summer camps. Sanilac County Humane Society is a private, non-profit, no-kill humane agency that cares for more than 300 animals each year, and relies solely on donations. Located in the thumb of Michigan, we help animals all over the state by pulling from overcrowded animal control facilities. Our mission is to provide shelter and medical care and find new homes for homeless pets.
 
Goals and Glory Foundation
 
Goals and Glory Foundation works to de-stigmatize and normalize mental health issues and seeking support, amongst high school athletes. We grant scholarships for high school athletes who share their story of trauma or adversity with our online magazine platform. We hope this rewards them for their courage, while inspiring others in silence. We have written 8 scholarships since 2018. We rely solely on donations and mostly been friends and family, and we truly need more funding for programs.

Covenant House Michigan (CHMI) provides youth experiencing homelessness with shelter, educational, and vocational programs, along with a wide array of wraparound services. We build a bridge to hope for young people experiencing homelessness and survivors of trafficking through unconditional love, absolute respect, and relentless support. Our doors are open 24/7 in Detroit and Grand Rapids with programs designed to empower young people to rise and overcome adversity, today and in the future.
 
 
Detroit Animal Welfare Group (DAWG)
 
Detroit Animal Welfare Group (DAWG) is a local non-profit, no-kill animal
rescue taking in over 1000 animals annually. We have a 25 acre farm in Bruce Twp with a kennel, heated barn, creek, pond and many enclosures. We take in domestic animals, farm animals, and injured or orphaned wildlife for rehabilitation. We have over 100 committed volunteers, a veterinarian and vet technician who provide daily care for our animals. The farm is home to many animals with medical conditions or disabilities.
 
 
Oakland County Foster Closet
 
The Oakland County Foster Closet is a nonprofit organization that provides free clothing, shoes, baby equipment, toys, books, school supplies, and other essential items to children in foster care and to families in need. By partnering with local schools, agencies, and community organizations, we ensure kids have the basics they deserve while easing the financial burden on foster families, guardians, and relative caregivers. Since 2013, we’ve helped over 16,000 children feel valued and supported.

Our Mission: To Serve the Poor without Compensation, Faithfully, Honestly. and Fairly to the Best of our Ability. We make and deliver lunches monthly to the homeless and needy in Detroit and surrounding areas. We also provide clothing and hygiene products to them. This team was started by 3 people approx. 20 years ago. We are a small team but we are strong in making this happen. We are funded by our volunteers and by organizing fundraisers yearly.

Every day, we provide FREE, life-changing therapeutic, educational, and career training programs for 30,000+ individuals of all ages.
Down syndrome is the largest chromosomal disability in our country and yet, it is the least funded.

For over 50 years, the Macomb Food Program has been working to feed hungry children and families in Macomb County. We support the community Food bank of Macomb counties network of over 50 food pantries and provide direct support to homeless students as they go off on extended school breaks when breakfast and lunch programs are unavailable.
 
The Luke Clinic
 
Since 2016, The Luke Clinic has served nearly 1600 patients as a free clinic in Detroit. We exist to advance maternal and infant health by providing life-affirming, high-quality medical care to expectant mothers and infants under 12 months. Through accessible, equitable, and relationship-based support, we nurture physical health, emotional well-being, and spiritual strength, creating a haven of hope where families are empowered to thrive for generations.
