Sanctum House
We are a long-term residential program for victims of human trafficking. We provide comprehensive and integrated trauma-informed care including: mental healthcare, including psychiatric care; physical healthcare; legal services; substance use disorder; life skills training; spiritual growth; education and employment opportunities.

Blue Star Service Dogs, INC
Blue Star Service Dogs pairs Military Veterans and First Responders with PTSD and TBI with specially trained service dogs. We rescue shelter dogs. Healing both visible and invisible wounds. Our prison training program benefits inmates and lowers costs. Dogs are trained in over 30 tasks, and all services are provided free of charge. People Helping People Serving the Homeless Detroit
Our Mission: To Serve the Poor without Compensation, Faithfully, Honestly. and Fairly to the Best of our Ability. We have been feeding and clothing the homeless for over 20 years. The volunteers are loyal and faithful, and all items donated are by the individuals that meet monthly to offer food, clothing, and hygiene necessities, and other assistance. Once a month we get together and make 120-140 lunches. During winter months we will provide boots, gloves, and scarfs. We are volunteer run.

The Buster Foundation
The Buster Foundation was founded by a core group of rescue volunteers, veterinarians, and breed supporters in 2003. Our mission is to save, protect, and rehome bully breed and mastiff breed dogs from around South East Michigan. We often take neglected and injured dogs from Detroit as we are an Official transfer partner of Detroit Animal Care and Control. We are a foster based 501c3 rescue. Gleaners Community Food Bank
We exist to provide households with access to sufficient, nutritious food and related resources.
We accomplish this through collaboration, efficient operations, education, and innovative solutions to achieve a hunger-free community in Southeast Michigan. Headquartered in Detroit, Gleaners serves five Southeast Michigan counties: Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Livingston and Monroe. Every dollar donated provides three meals, and 92 percent of our expenses directly support our neighbors facing hunger.

HOPE Against Trafficking
Hope is a two-year comprehensive residential program for women who have been human trafficked. The women in our program receive a free safe space to live including medical, dental, optometric, and mental health care, along with daily living skills development, educational opportunities and job readiness training so they can live independent, peaceful and dignified lives. Empowerment Plan
Empowerment Plan's mission is to employ and empower unhoused individuals to break the generational cycle of homelessness by producing a sleeping bag coat for those in need.
EP is a holistic workforce development organization addressing homelessness in two critical ways. First, we provide full-time employment and services for individuals recovering from homelessness in Detroit. Forgotten Harvest
Forgotten Harvest is a food rescue located in Oak Park, MI. We deliver 144,000 pounds of surplus food per day to local charities five days a week, providing families in need with fresh and nutritious food free of charge. A Rejoyceful Animal Rescue
A ReJoyceful Animal Rescue is a no-kill, foster-based cat and dog rescue. We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) charity located in the Metro-Detroit area. All of the animals that come into in our care have been rescued from one place or another. We pull from high-kill animal shelters, we take in the sick, unwanted, abandoned, abused and neglected animals.
