People Helping People Serving the Homeless Detroit

Our Mission: To Serve the Poor without Compensation, Faithfully, Honestly. and Fairly to the Best of our Ability. We have been feeding and clothing the homeless for over 20 years. The volunteers are loyal and faithful, and all items donated are by the individuals that meet monthly to offer food, clothing, and hygiene necessities, and other assistance. Once a month we get together and make 120-140 lunches. During winter months we will provide boots, gloves, and scarfs. We are volunteer run.

A ReJoyceful Animal Rescue is a no-kill, foster-based cat and dog rescue. We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) charity located in the Metro-Detroit area. All of the animals that come into in our care have been rescued from one place or another. We pull from high-kill animal shelters, we take in the sick, unwanted, abandoned, abused and neglected animals. We place them in a foster home with someone who will understand them, rehabilitate them and show them what it is like to be loved again.
