My 3 favourites are (not in a particular order): - Only yesterday - The tale of princess Kaguya - The grave of the fireflies The latter I've only seen it twice; it's too hard to watch (but if it's good it's good ;'D And my forth and fifth favourites are: - From up on Poppy Hill - When Marnie was there Again I love them equally

Every one of Miyazaki's or Ghibli's are great. Can't really vote up but for me I'm better at voting down: Princess Mononoke and Only Yesterday voted down. For because of recent viewing I want to vote up When Marnie was There much, my emotions are still there~ ;v; and thank you Ghibli now I know Cécile Corbel. (I think I've missed the time for voting)

1. Princess Mononoke. I always liked how the main protagonist is not really the main person of this story at any given time. He just slipped into something way beyond his understanding and tries to seperate right from wrong (which there isn't, because there is no right or wrong in real life) The movie also connects to me, because I really like woods a lot.

All Studio Ghibli films never fail to impress and they always leave the audience more than moved and satisfied. It was a really, really, really tough choice between Howl's Moving Castle, Spirited Away and Totoro!

Yes Howl's moving castle is amazing but I'm guessing a good 80% of you haven't seen Only Yesterday. In fact, I'm sure about 60% of you have only seen: Totoro, Howl's Moving Castle, Spirited Away, Ponyo, and MAYBE Princess Mononoke.

Nausicaa, followed by Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, and Laputa. Too bad we can't make multiple picks. Nausicaa because it was the first, if it hadn't been made, Studio Ghibli might not be what it is today. And if Miyazaki had decided that a manga (which is incredible and amazing) was too much work and not done it, the movie wouldn't have been made per the backer demands from that time period. It was also my first Ghibli movie with dubs from the original english dubbing on the military network channel in Japan- which despite taking scenes out of the movie (and consequently ruining the chances of other movies getting to be dubbed until much later) because they thought it would go over kids heads and wouldn't be "exciting" enough, was in my opinion the best dubbing of that movie I've ever seen.
