Our Mission statement is to help orphaned and abandoned kittens, mothers with kittens, and pregnant mothers receive socialization through foster care to become part of loving homes. As the program has evolved over the last fourteen years, so to have the needs of the communities we operate in. Often, we have been asked to take in adult cats in need as well as rehoming owned pets when their owners can no longer care for them. When we have the volunteers and ability to do this, we do. Kitten Angels policy has always been to take back any of our previously adopted cats from our program no matter what the reason or when they are returned.
All of our cats are Spay or neutered, vaccinated with age appropriate vaccines and tested for FeLV and FIV before Adoption. In 2024 we hit a milestone with our adoption totals exceeding 1500 cats and kittens being adopted. Our annual intake is 1500-2000 cats with the end goal of adoption but for those that cannot be socialized we perform limited TNR as well as having a working program otherwise known as a barn cat program for the ones we cannot socialize. Kitten Angels is 100% volunteer run with no paid employees. All our cats and kittens are in foster homes as well as our 5 PetSmart and 1 Petco pet partner locations where we conduct adoptions throughout the week.
