WomenSafe, Inc.

WomenSafe is in its 45th year providing emergency shelter and support services to survivors of domestic violence in Northeast Ohio. Services beyond shelter include a 24-hour hotline, diagnostic assessment, licensed counseling, art and play therapies, legal advocacy, life skills and parenting education, relocation assistance and aftercare support for up to two years. WomenSafe also provides community education to more than 10,000 individuals annually.

The Cleveland Clergy works to assist seniors by removing barriers, inclusive of: medical, insurance, transportation, dental, mental health, financial literacy, housing, food deprivation, and any unidentified unmet needs that will delineate in accessing available programs and services; breaking the cycle of social isolation; and preparing pre-retires to navigate the systems that will support them age safely in their communities with dignity and respect.
 
Sisters With Purpose
 
Sisters With Purpose is an after-school girls empowerment group. We give our girls a safe space to be bold, confident, and expressive. They learn how to be young entrepreneurs by engaging in networking skills, financial literacy, and vendor events. Sisters with Purpose introduce their ladies to mindfulness activities through exercise, yoga, and social and emotional activities. The girls learn how to cook, sew, speak eloquently, art, book clubs, and activities to make them well rounded citizens.

The Haven Home provides compassionate support and safe, stable housing for pregnant and parenting women experiencing homelessness. Through personalized enrichment services and a nurturing environment, we empower these women to build resilient foundations, fostering independence to move them from poverty to prosperity.

A Touch of Teddy

During the month of October, for pregnancy and infant loss awareness month, we are sending FREE teddy bear ornaments to families all over the US who’ve experienced pregnancy/infant loss. A little teddy bear hug to families missing their sweet babies. Our mission was started in honor of our son, Teddy, stillborn in 2018.

Friends of CITY DOGS Cleveland

Friends of CITY DOGS Cleveland is a volunteer run organization established in April 2020 with the mission of providing the animals taken in by Cleveland Animal Care and Control (CACC) with life-saving medical care and enrichment, during their time at the kennel.
We also support the CITY DOGS adoption and volunteer program by providing martingale collars, leashes, sponsored training sessions, and other items to keep the dogs and volunteers happy and safe.
 
Humane Society of Summit County

Humane Society of Summit County serves our community by caring and advocating for vulnerable animals and enriching the lives of pets and people. We are the only local, non-profit welfare organization in Summit County dedicated to serving animals that are victims of abuse, neglect, and abandonment as well as sick and injured strays.
 
Night to Shine

Night to Shine provides a special night out to celebrate people in communities all over the world. This prom like night out allows guest to enjoy dinner, dancing and being crowned kings and queens at no cost. Local churches host the event annually in February and pay for the costs. I have provided the churche's 5013c because of this. The funds raised go to food, souvenirs, activites, limos, and dinner for parents/caregivers. etc. for the night.
 
Swim Like Me Foundation

Swim Like Me Foundation saves lives and breaks generational fear by providing free and low-cost swim lessons, water safety education, and lifeguard training to underserved communities. We focus on increasing access and representation in aquatics for Black, Hispanic, and low-income youth—empowering them with lifesaving skills, confidence, and job opportunities. Through culturally relevant tools like our “Splash and Friends” book, we promote equity, safety, and generational change through swimming
 
OutRun Ovarian Cancer OROC

OutRun Ovarian Cancer or OROC is a volunteer-driven. nonprofit organization dedicated to raising ovarian cancer awareness and money for research and education. Founded in 2003, OROC events have generated funds allowing the group to donate more than $2,000,000 to ovarian cancer research and education in Northeast Ohio.
OROC is dedicated to creating an active community of hope and encouragement for those touched by ovarian cancer through awareness, education and early detection.
 
Moebius Nature Center

Come and discover the Moebius Nature Center, our city’s natural treasure, whose mission is to promote the enjoyment, respect and preservation of nature through educational programs for residents and students of Aurora, and neighboring communities. The Moebius Nature Center is situated on city property but receives no tax dollars to operate. We are 100% volunteer supported and funded – donating time, talent and resources to bring programs and activities for all to enjoy on this beautiful property
 
Thrive For Change

Thrive For Change is a peer lead Harm Reduction organization with a focus on ending the overdose crisis. We work towards that goal in many ways. Through our in person outreach initiatives throughout Cuyahoga county, education & training on Harm Reduction and Stigma reduction, and statewide through Ohio with our mail based supplies initiatives. We believe in collaboration without competition, so we partner with many agencies and programs to support our shared goal of ending the overdose crisis.

The SOAR Initiative

SOAR is a harm reduction organization serving Greater Cleveland by providing street level distribution of supplies including naloxone, fentanyl test strips, hygiene items, and food to people who use drugs. We also provide access to SOAR's Bad Batch Alert which disseminates text message information in real time about adulterants or unusual risks in the community drug supply. The outreach and alerts empower people who use drugs to improve their safety and health, thereby reducing overdose risks.

We help families going through difficult times. We work directly with the social workers at the Cleveland Clinic Pediatric Oncology unit who refer families to us who need help paying expenses while their child undergoes treatment at the Cleveland Clinic. We will also work with other hospitals if approached. Most of our donations come from friends and families and 100% of the money donated goes to help the families in need.

Core Members serve as leaders of their households making decisions about how their days are spent and by working in the community to spread the vision of a more inclusive world—making known the gifts of people with IDD.
 
Alleycats & Aristocats

Alleycats & Aristocats is a cat rescue in NEO that provides adoption and trap-neuter-return (TNR) services. Since its inception in 2022, we’ve adopted out 1,850+ cats. Recently, our involvement in TNR has skyrocketed. In 2023, we undertook a project to save 85+ cats in Kimbolton, OH, from euthanasia. Watch here: bit.ly/4cT4Wjb. We spearheaded this in collaboration with the community and rescues to place the cats in forever homes. After all, all cats deserve love, no matter where they come from.
