A Touch of Teddy

A Touch of Teddy is a small 501(c)3 nonprofit started in 2023. During the month of October, we send out FREE teddy bear ornaments - all over the US - to families who've experienced pregnancy and infant loss (October is also PAIL awareness month). A little way for families to honor their sweet babies during the holidays. To date, we've sent over 1,100 teddy bear ornaments. This foundation was started in honor of our son, Theodore "Teddy" Michalski, who was stillborn in October of 2018.
 
 
Alleycats & Aristocats, Inc.

Alleycats & Aristocats is a cat rescue in NEO providing adoption and trap-neuter-return (TNR) services. Since inception in 2022, we’ve adopted out 1,260+ cats. Recently, our involvement in TNR has skyrocketed. In 2023, we undertook a project to save 85+ cats in Kimbolton, OH, from euthanasia. Watch here: bit.ly/4cT4Wjb. We spearheaded this in collaboration with the community & rescues to place the cats in forever homes. After all, all cats deserve love, no matter where they come from.

Brady's K9 Fund protects the K9s who protect our communities by providing body armor. We believe these working dogs deserve to be protected by a ballistic vest for their entire shift just like their human partners, so that they both can come home safe together. Police K9s face great risks since they are often sent in ahead to investigate dangerous situations. Thrive for Change
 
So far this year, at least 150 overdose fatalities have been prevented through the efforts of our small team at Thrive for Change. Thrive for Change is a peer-driven nonprofit in Cleveland with the mission to promote health, hope, and healing for individuals at risk of overdose & their loved ones through education, collaboration, advocacy, and direct service. Every year, we reach thousands of individuals through our programs offering life-saving harm reduction supplies like naloxone, overdose response training, and linkages to care.

Understanding the profound bond between humans and animals, we offer financial support for pet retention and adoption costs, as well as ongoing medical care and food for these cherished animals. To broaden our impact, we also provide care packages for children in foster care and essential school supplies for students in need.
