How did you resolve the Replicated Man quest in Fallout 3?

I gave Zimmer an android part and convinced him the android was dead.

I did as Zimmer wished by giving him the android’s identity and the android was taken away. But I got a sweet implant for my work!

I found the real android and sided with him by killing Zimmer. I got a sweet gun!

I found the real android and convinced him to go with Zimmer as he belongs to him

I found the real android, said I would kill Zimmer for him to get the gun, but told Zimmer anyway so I could get that sweet implant as well.

Never completed this quest before.
