Sidney de Jong (NED): His U23 National Team went undefeated at the WBSC Europe U23 European Championships to claim the title in the final over Germany and secure a 2022 U23 World Cup berth. Additionally the team went 2-3 in the 2021 Edition of the World tournament, participating on a wild card, good enough for 10th place and the best spot of the three european participants.

 

 

Vladiir Chlup (CZE): His Czech U23 Team did finish in 12th place at the 2021 U23 World Cup. Bit that does not tell the whole stoty. An upset win against defending champion Mexico send a message. While that victory remained the only one, the results and performances and the world´s elite team did gain Czech (and European) Baseball attention and respect.

 

 

Gianguido Poma: The former elite player was appointed Manager of Italian Serie A powerhouse Parma in 2017. In 2021, he led his club to the European Club Championship (WBSC Europe Champions Cup). While his team did not lead in any major statistical category, Parma showed effectiveness in coming out on top, beating Germany´s Bonn Capitals in the final.
