Poll - What are your favorite Songs/Scores in RWBY Volume 1? (Pick only 3)

Really hard to choose, RLR part2 is my obvious top 1 but the other two (I Burn and This Will Be The Day) were hellish to choose between so many good songs !

I voted for RLR part 2, This will be the day, and I May Fall. I burn would of been my fourth choice though.

Red like roses is my favourite but BRUN is good 2

I would've picked I Burn over Red Like Roses Part II, but I wasn't sure if the version he was using was the one that played in Yang's original trailer that was a mashup of all four character themes or the version that was purely Yang's own theme. Granted only the second option would've beat Red Like Roses Part II. I'm not a huge fan of the mashup version. Considering RWBY isn't capable of having a bad song in it's soundtrack, of course I like the mashup version to a degree, but there are a lot of better songs out there to me including the original versions of the songs that are mashed up in the trailer version of I Burn.

Volume 1 soundtrack is really good it was hard to pick just 3 songs but I just knew that "I May Fall" had to be one of them, that song is just awesome.

I still love to listen to all the original songs but I May Fall is one that I never get tired of listening too!

I voted for I may fall, this will be the day and red like roses II, this was hard but I notice I tend to hit replay on them more then the other songs or will sing along. Red like roses II hits harder for me because I can sympathize with Ruby as I too have lost a parent and this song embodying their conversation... just damn. I used the name of one of my ocs from my main Rwby oc team... wasn’t sure if I should instead use a username of mine...

I put in my main RWBY OC for my name since I don't wanna use my real name here. I had a hard time picking between "This Will Be The Day" and "I May Fall". I think I settled on "This Will Be The Day" in the end

Red like Roses part II is great

I find I May Fall really impacting to the audience because the song itself tells a lot about the succeeding plots of the RWBY Volumes. There’s a really good build up that happens which is almost like a sneak peak of the events in volume 3. Red like Roses is a classic with its beautiful instrumental. Lastly, Mirror Mirror creates the image of beauty and loneliness. It puts you on a level that you could almost relate to especially when you’re going through things. All in all, it was a great composition that reaches the audies.

I burn is my favorite through the whole series. Then I did I may fall and red like roses part 2.

I never really liked any rwby songs but for vol 1 this will be the day is definitely the best one

Easily RLR 2, i may fall and this willl be the day for me

"This Will The Day", "Red Like Roses Part 2", and "I May Fall". IMO, easily the best three on the first soundtrack, and all three are very strong contenders for Top RWBY Song Overall.

From Shadows is very impacting to me as I can't help thinking Blake and Roxas would get along with how similar they are. I Burn is a bad ass work out and fight song that gets me hyped. While I May Fall is a really amazing song during Beacon's downfall and seeing Velvet use her weapon combined with her semblance to perfectly mimic Ruby, Weiss, Blake, Yang, Sun, Nora, and even Penny's weapons and fighting styles was completely blowing my mind with this girl's potential! Like holy why did she not kick Cardin's little ass sooner if she's such a bad ass?!

I chose Red Like Roses part two, Gold and From Shadows. Just, the piano with rock vibe in From Shadows gets me every time. Gold for me just feel great to sing to and it's fun to bounce along to the beat. For Red Like Roses part two, I just really love the concept of Ruby indirectly talking to her mom mixed with the sound.

This is hard, I love all of them!

Well all of these themes be fightin' tunes But in all seriousness the themes actually do have a very well put together rhythm And I'm always a sucker for upbeat tunes with depressing lyrics when you actually look at them

The scene where Weiss helped Velvet and played I May Fall in the background will be the scene i always remember when i think of Weiss

Mirror Mirror, Red Like Roses Part 2, and I May Fall are all songs that really resonate with me from the lyrics, musicality, and instrumentation. It's these songs that got me to fall in love with RWBY'S music.

I perfer my music a little softer.

nothing hits quite as hard as red like roses part 2. Between the duet with summer and the line "no matter what I do, nothing ever takes the place of you." Is just perfect. Probably my favorite rwby song period.
