Legal standard
Dec 2, 2014
As a listener I have concluded that Adnan is almost certainly guilty as I haven't heard a non-fantastical scenario in which Jay murders Hae on that day, sets up Adnan perfectly, and Adnan is completely oblivious and completely uninvolved in the murder or disposal of the body. As a juror, however, I would have concluded that the prosecution did not meet the legal standard of guilt and would have voted to acquit.Dec 2, 2014

why didn't he try to reach her when she was missing? He never made a phone call to her?? With his past relationship and the type of caring person he supposedly is. He would have tried to call her himself, thinking she would defiantly respond to his phone call. But he didn't, why? he knew... Jay is not capable of coming up with a story that clever... Jay lies probably to cover up for his girlfriend at the time. He would do anything to keep her out of this kind of trouble.Nov 27, 2014

My mom who has legal training and I discuss this podcast very often, it seems to me that if Adnan is guilty, if I were SK I would feel so betrayed. Nov 26, 2014

I would like an option that says, "Do you think Adnan was involved in the murder" because I think he did it but Jay or others were involved as well. Nov 24, 2014

Could you convict him beyond a reasonable doubt? Definition:If the jurors or judge have no doubt as to the defendant's guilt, or if their only doubts are unreasonable doubts, then the prosecutor has proven the defendant's guilt beyond a reasonable doubt and the defendant should be pronounced guilty.Nov 23, 2014

I have no idea why people still think he is guilty. There doesn't appear to be enough evidence that Adnon did this murder.Nov 22, 2014

There is no evidence in this case that has been presented that isn't contradicted by something else. Nov 22, 2014

The people that are convinced that he is guilty are certainly a vocal minority on Reddit!Nov 21, 2014

These data make me think of Adnan's chart bias argument and how it applies to the validity of our deductions. So amazing that people geek out this hard on a podcast. Amazing! Nov 21, 2014
