3190 - Jugalbandi Cricket - the Gentleman's game with a Twist - "Rotaract Club of Jayanagar (RI 3190) in association with Rotaract Club of Peenya (RI 3190) and ASTHA (an organization that promotes Paralympic Movement in India) took Cricket up a notch on 16 October, 2016 in the form of Jugalbandi Cricket at Sullivan Police Grounds, Bengaluru. Jugalbandi Cricket brought people who are abled and differently-abled together on the same field to bridge the differences via the medium of Cricket. 32 teams of 6 abled players each, played 6 a side matches. Top three teams were then teamed with 4 differently abled players to form a Jugalbandi team of 10 each. The teams comprised of Rotaractors, Rotarians, Interactors and general public who participated with great energy and enthusiasm. 3292 - Building library: Inside the prison - Building library in Prison is a project of Rotaract Club of Kathmandu Metropolis that aims at sharing the light, hope and positivity with the inmates of various prisons of Nepal. It is said that books are individual’s best friend. After intense homework and background research and need assessment, Banke Prison was selected as our project area, as it being one of the least privileged prison of all. The Banke prison consists of 650 inmates of which, 600 male and 48 female inmates.
