1.2 "The Bird" - Harold invites a girlfriend round to supper. She arrives a hour late and Harold, goaded by his father, Albert, refuses to let her in. Was she late or has Albert been marking time..?
2.2 "The Bath" - Harold's romantic evenings are thwarted by the sight of his dad enjoying a jar of pickled onions in a tin bath. It looks like in-door plumbing will be arriving at Oil Drum Lane!
3.7 "The Lodger" - To make ends meet, Albert insists on advertising for a lodger. Harold, ultimately, threatens to leave. An impasse has been made... Who backs down first?
5.1 "A Death in the Family" - A touching episode which sees father and son unite over the care of their totting horse Hercules.
6.1 "Robbery With Violence" - Albert accidentally breaks a piece of Harold's prized china. He feigns a robbery took place, but things start to unravel at an alarming pace.
6.2 "Come Dancing" - Harold takes up dancing lessons from Albert in a bid to impress his girlfriend down at the local dance hall. But Albert may not be the best man for the job!
7.1 "Men of Letters" - After coming to blows over a game of 'Scrabble', the Steptoe's are invited to write an article on the rag-and-bone trade for the local parish newsletter. But who is it who makes the headlines?
7.6 "Divided We Stand" - Harold and Albert are at their wits end. There's nothing else for it but to divide the house! "I've got the law on my side..."
8.5 "Upstairs, Downstairs, Upstairs, Downstairs" - Albert is up to his tricks again, feigning illness to get out of doing the housework. Harold seems willing to oblige... until the old man slips up of course ;)
